IDDSI is an acronym for “International Dysphagia Diet Standardization Initiative”.

The IDDSI framework consists of a continuum of 8 levels (0-7), where drinks are measured from Levels 0 – 4, while foods are measured from Levels 3 – 7.

Absolutely. All our products are formulated using all natural ingredients, and rapidly cooled to lock in its natural nutrition.

Ezy Foods was incorporated in Australia in 2008 with a core belief of establishing a company that value added food into the Aged Care & Hospital Sector.

Our directors worked with Food Science Australia (CSIRO) to develop shelf stable texture modified vegetables. This early work along with a market acceptance study provided the directors with sufficient belief to move to product commercialization and the subsequent establishment of a suitable food manufacturing facility in Victoria; Australia.

From humble beginnings at our initial factory in Laverton North, Ezy Foods directors (with combined experience of > 130 years in the food industry) built on their core competence in developing a range of 100% Australian & Pure Vegetable Purees expanding into value added products such as Soups & Stocks, Fresh cuts, Blended Vegetables, Freeze Dried Powders, Sauces, Fruit Coulis and Toppings.

Proudly Australian, a majority of our processing equipment was purpose designed and built in Australia.

The continued growth of the business since its inception necessitated relocation to a purpose built manufacturing facility in Broadmeadows in 2017.

All our products have storage conditions marked on the package.  To maintain product integrity and safety please follow the storage conditions listed on the product. Example: 'Keep refrigerated' or 'Keep Frozen'.

All our products have Best Before or Use By dates marked on the package.  Typically you will receive products with > 14 days shelf life for Chilled and > 6 months shelf life for Frozen

Each of our portion controlled products have been formulated based on the Nutritional needs against Australian Standards.  Our Tub offers allows you to share with others in your household.

Typically, we will have your delivery made within 3 working days for Melbourne Metro and 5 working days for Victorian Country Regions

Our delivery range is broken into State Metro and Rural area deliveries made to most main locations at least once per week.  Country deliveries are on a case by case basis, we arrange delivery into main country towns, however if the delivery is to an out of town private address or on a dirt road we would have to advise you whether the delivery is possible.

In the event that nobody’s at home to sign and accept the delivery, we will leave the goods at the front door in a safe location and a picture will be taken as proof of delivery.  Please note that we will not be liable for the integrity or safety of the product when it is left at the front door.
