The IDDSI Level 5 describes food as being in a Minced & Moist form. As such, Adults who are unable to bite food off, but with limited ability to chew can enjoy this level of meal.
Liquids within the food cannot drip and the foods soft constitution allows it to broken up with the tongue and gums. As the food is not sticky, it can easily be swallowed with minimal chewing necessary.
