The IDDSI Level 4 describes meals as being in a Pureed form. As such, Adults can usually consume these meals with a Spoon. These meals are smooth in texture with no lumps, so do not require chewing and are not sticky.
Any liquids or sauces contained in the food must not seperate from the solid. IDDSI Level 4 are aimed at people who are not able to chew and / or have limited tongue movement.
